Our fall and holiday mini sessions are 30 minutes long. This is the perfect amount of time to capture authentic family moments before kids lose interest. Mini sessions start at $395 and include 10 digital files.

When will I get my photos back?

Micholiano Photography offers a fast turnaround. You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within a maximum of 5 days, ensuring you have plenty of time to order holiday cards.

When is the best time to schedule a maternity photo session?

The ideal time for maternity photos is usually between 28 and 34 weeks of pregnancy. During this window, your bump is beautifully round and visible, but you are still relatively comfortable moving around.

Where do you shoot your photography sessions?

All portrait sessions are shot on-location using natural light. We do not use a studio. We can shoot in the comfort of your own home or at an agreed-upon outdoor location anywhere in San Francisco, Oakland, or the wider Bay Area.

Do you travel outside of San Francisco?

If we arrive early, we can capture the Grand Staircase before the crowds, tourists, and daily civil wedding ceremonies take over the building. Late afternoon (around 3:30 PM) is the second-best option as the building begins to empty out.

Do you need a permit for a photoshoot at SF City Hall?

If you are taking personal portraits (like engagement or family photos) using basic equipment (just a photographer and a camera), you do not need a permit.

However, if you bring large equipment like tripods, light stands, or reflectors, or if the shoot is for commercial purposes, the city requires a permit and an hourly fee. Because my style relies entirely on natural light and a minimal footprint, we can shoot freely without permit fees.
