FAQ
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within a maximum 5 days (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!
WE HATE GETTING OUR PHOTO TAKEN AND ARE NERVOUS TO BOOK! HELP!!
Most people actually feel this way! You are not alone! I make sure to prompt you the duration of our session while also capturing those in between moments that happen beautifully and organically. All couples needs are different, I am there to read the vibe and be as hands on or as hands off as need be! Most of my clients walk away having had the best time, even my male clients believe it or not
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm San Francisco based and yes I love to travel! If you want me to photograph your story, it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. ($40 flat fee outside of SF & Oakland)
Do you shoot in studio or have a studio?
No. All portrait sessions are shot on location with natural light. We can shoot in the comfort of your own home or an agreed upon outdoor location. While it is important to choose a time of the day that your child is happiest, keep in mind that for an outdoor session early morning light–just after sunrise–or late afternoon light–2 hours before sunset–is ideal. If we are shooting indoors, we will choose a room that has ample sunlight filtering through.
Do You Help With Wardrobe Selection?
Since I am creating custom artwork for your family, wardrobe and color theory impact the final imagery we create. From beginning to end, I want to make this photo experience as stress-free as possible for all of my clients, which is why I offer my clients free access to a personalized styling guide that’s fun to use to select and buy clothes from online stores or just to find some style inspiration by clothing style and color.
What is your typical process for working with a new client?
Meeting new clients is such a joy and fun process. I love to laugh and have fun, so don't be surprised if I crack corny jokes or say silly things to get you to smile or laugh:) I also will ask you lots of questions about yourself/kids, basically, whoever will be at the session with us. I want to make sure you are prepared to the fullest.
Do you have Insurance?
I am fully insured through PackageChoice by Hill & Usher If your venue needs proof of insurance just let me know and I'll be happy to provide that for you.
How Far Should We Book In Advance?
My calendar's a hot commodity! Summers, Holiday Season, and weekends fill up fast. They’re snapped up at least 6 weeks ahead.
Where are your prints made?
My prints are locally made in San Francisco.
